River School is on-the-water learning about rivers, watersheds and the environment

We focus on stewardship, water quality, environmental science and quality of life during a River School trek. High school students in Marion County, Indiana are our target audience. For many, this expedition is their first encounter with White River — or any river.

River School is an outreach program of Friends of the White River, a not-for-profit environmental and community service organization, with tremendous help from various other civic groups and government agencies.
